# New Markets

> Get notified when new markets open on Polymarket for categories you follow.

**How to Access**

1. Type /start and tap **Alerts** Or type /alerts

**How It Works**

Select which categories you want to monitor. When a new market opens in that category on Polymarket, the bot sends you a notification so you can be among the first to trade.

| Indicator       | What it means                                                  |
| :-------------- | :------------------------------------------------------------- |
| 🟢 **Enabled**  | You will receive alerts when new markets open in this category |
| 🔴 **Disabled** | No alerts for this category                                    |

Tap **Crypto ›** to pick which specific tokens and timeframes to follow. Example: only get alerts for new BTC 5 minute markets.
