# Fees Structure

> Kreo uses a **bell curve (Gaussian distribution),** fees are lowest at extreme odds and highest around 50/50.

**Fee formula:** `max(0.003, 0.07 × price × (1 - price))`

| Price (Odds) | Fee per share    |
| :----------- | :--------------- |
| 10¢ or 90¢   | \~0.0063         |
| 25¢ or 75¢   | \~0.0131         |
| 50¢ (50/50)  | 0.0175 (highest) |

**Why this is fairer:**

* Extreme odds need less price discovery → fees stay low
* 50/50 odds have the highest market impact → slightly higher fee
* You avoid overpaying on longshots and near-certainties
